CHAP. 112.

Passed Mar. 5, 1836

A supplement to an act passed at December session, eigh-

 

teen hundred and twenty-five, chapter thirty-six, re-

 

lating to the Trustees of the Alms House, for Caroline

 

county.

Per diem allowed trustees

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

 

Maryland, That from and after the passage of this act,

 

the trustees for the Alms House for Caroline county,

 

shall he each entitled to charge and receive the sum of

 

one dollar for p,a,ch and every day they may attend at

Mileage

the Alms House in said county, and also the same mile-

 

age as is now by law allowed to jurors and witnesses

 

for attending the county court; the same to he made

 

out, levied and collected as other county charges are.

1st. sec O. A. repealed

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the first section of

 

the act to which this is a supplement, be and the same

 

is hereby repealed.

 

CHAPTER 112.

Passed Mar. 4,1836

A supplement to the act, entitled, an act to incorporate

 

Frederick Town, in Frederick county.

Authority in re-

lation to bawdy

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

houses, &c-

Maryland, That the Aldermen and Common-Council

 

shall have full power and authority to enact and pass

 

all laws and ordinances necessary to prohibit or restrain

 

the keeping of bawdy-houses, or houses of ill-fame,

 

within the limits of said corporation, to restrain and

 

prohibit all loose and suspected persons from resorting

 

to, frequenting, living, or residing in any such bawdy

 

house, or house of ill-fame, in said town; to provide
