No. 118.

 

Resolution relative to publishing certain laws.

Passed Mar.14,1832

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the

 

clerk of the executive council be, and he hereby is author-

 

ised and required to cause to be published without delay in

 

two of the daily newspapers printed in the city of Balti-

 

more, and in one newspaper in each of the counties in which

 

a newspaper is printed, the several acts of the present ses-
sion relating to licenses of ordinary keepers, and retailers of

 

spirituous liquors, and the colored population of this state,

 

Provided, that the expense thereof in no case shall exceed

 

the amount charged for such publication in the newspapers

 

of the city of Baltimore, and to draw upon the treasurer of

 

the western shore for the cost thereof.

 

No. 119.

 

Resolution in favor of Sarah Smith.

Passed Mar.14, 1832

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the

 

treasurer of the western shore, pay to Sarah Smith of Anne

 

Arundel county, widow of John Smith, a soldier of the rev-

 

olutionary war, or to his order, during widowhood, in

 

half yearly payments a sum of money equal to the half pay

 

of a private, in consideration for the services, rendered by

 

her husband during said war.

Resolution in favor of Hyde Ray Bowie, Charles Thomp-

Passed Mar. 14, 1832

son, Edward Dubois, William A. Quynn and Richard

 

Ridgely.

 

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the

 

treasurer of the western shore, pay to Hyde Ray Bowie,

 

Charles Thompson and Edward Dubois, each eight dollars,

 

for two days attendance of each, as asssitant committee

 

clerks to the senate, and William A. Quynn and Richard

 

Ridgely, each four dollars for one days attendance of each

 

as assistant committee clerks to the House of Delegates.
