1831.

   

liver to captain Henry Hust, of Kent county, a number of

 

swords and pistols, not exceeding fifty of each, with appro-
priate accoutrements, which the said armorer may select,

 

on his giving such security for the safe keeping and return

 

of the same, as the governor and council may require.

Resolution relative to the Free School Fund for Charles

Passed Mar.2, 1832

County.

 

Resolved, That the orphan's court of Charles county, may,

 

in their discretion, cause to be invested, and the treasurer

 

of the western shore, is hereby authorised and directed to

 

receive and invest, for the benefit of said county, in the re-

 

served shares of the Farmer's Bank of Maryland, any sur-

 

plus money of the free school fund which may now,or at any

 

future time, remain unexpended in the hands of the school

 

commissioners of said county.

 

No. 94.

 

Resolution in favour of John Clemson, Jr., and Wife.

Passed Mar. 2, 1832

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the

 

register of the land office, for the western shore, be, and he

 

is hereby directed to issue to John Clemson, Jr. and Sophia

 

Clemson, his wife, of Frederick county, a patent, on a cer-

 

tificate of resurvey, called 'Hollwood,' lying in Baltimore

 

county, and resurveyed for them the twenty-third day of

 

March, eighteen hundred and thirty; and containing one

 

hundred and eleven and one fourth acres and sixteen perches
of land; and that said patent issue to them, their heirs, and

 

assigns, forever.

 

No. 95.

 

Resolution in favor of William Cooper, a Revolutionary

Passed Mar. 12, 1832

Soldier.

 

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the treasurer of the western shore, pay to William Cooper,
