Resolution in favour of Thomas Haywood.
|
 
|
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
|
 
|
treasurer of the western shore, pay to Thomas Haywood,
|
 
|
of Saint Mary's county, a soldier of the revolutionary war,
|
 
|
or to his order, during life, in yearly payments, a sum of
|
 
|
money equal to the half pay of a private, in consideration
|
 
|
for his services during the said war.

Resolution respecting the printing of the report of the Di-

|
gest of the Laws.
|
 
|
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
|
 
|
governor and council, be, and they hereby are authorised
|
 
|
and required, to contract, on the best obtainable terms, for
|
.
|
the printing of one hundred and eleven copies of the report
|
 
|
on the digest of the laws, from the copy to be furnished by
|
 
|
John Buchannan and Reverdy Johnson, Esquires; under the
|
 
|
supervision of such person or persons as the said governor
|
 
|
and council may appoint for that purpose, with a view to
|
 
|
the prompt and economical action of the general assembly,
|
 
|
on that subject.

|
Resolution in favour of Captain Enoch Cloud.
|
 
|
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
|
 
|
treasurer of the western shore, pay to Capt. Enoch Cloud,
|
 
|
of Cecil county, or order, the sum of sixty-five dollars, it
|
 
|
being the amount due for militia services, rendered by the
|
 
|
company under his command, in March last.
