Passed Feb. 7,1832

Resolution authorising the Treasurer to pay to his Excel-
lency the Governor, fifty dollars, being the amount paid

 

by him for a horse pressed into the service of the state,

 

and died while in such service.

 

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the

 

treasurer of the western shore,be and he is hereby directed to

 

pay to the present governor, or his order, the sum of fifty

 

dollars, it being the amount paid by him for a horse which

 

was pressed into service of the state, and died while in such

 

service.

Passed Feb.10,1832

A Resolution in favor of Lydia Brown and Ann Hill, of

 

Saint Mary's county, legal representatives of Richard

 

Hill, a soldier of the revolutionary war.

 

Resolved, That the register of the land office, for the

 

western shore issue to Lydia Brown and Ann Hill, of Saint

 

Mary's county, legal representatives of Richard Hill, a sol-

 

dier of the revolutionary war, a common warrant for fifty

 

acres of vacant land lying in Allegany county, and issue a

 

patent for the said quantity of acres of land upon a certifi-

 

cate of the survey thereof duly returned, without requiring

 

payment or proof of payment, or any composition money

 

therefor.

Passed Feb.10,1832

Resolution authorising and requiring the register of the land

 

office, of the western shore, to issue to Richard Coe, of

 

Prince George's county, a common warrant for fifty acres

 

of vacant laud.

 

Resolved, That the register of the land office for the wes-

 

tern shore, be, and he is hereby authorised and required to
