Sewell, a Revolutionary Soldier.

Resolved, That the treasurer of the western shoie, pay to
|
 
|
Rebecca Sewell, widow of William Sewell, a soldier of the
|
 
|
revolutionary war, or to her order, during life, in half yearly
|
 
|
payments, a sum of money equal to the half piy of a private,
in consideration of the services rendered by her said hus-
|
 
|
band.

Resolved, That the treasurer of the western shore, pay

to Richard Hall, of Anne Arundel county, a soldier of the
|
 
|
revolutionary war, or to his order, during life, in half yearly
|
 
|
payments, a sum of money equal to the half pay, of a private,
|
 
|
as a further remuneration for his services during said war.

Resolution relative to the Stale Library.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
|
 
|
sum of eight hundred dollars, be and the same is hereby
|
 
|
appropriated for the use of the State Library, and that his
|
 
|
excellency the governor, is hereby authorised to draw upon
|
 
|
the treasury of the western shore, for the whole or any
|
 
|
part thereof, from time to time, in payment for such books
|
 
|
as may be purchased by order of the joint committee on
|
 
|
that subject, when the same shall have been delivered and
|
 
|
certified by the librarian.
