1831.

Quills, good, per hundred, 2 00

 

do very superior, do 3 00

 

Ink, in quart bottles, per doz. 3 00

 

Wafers, superior, per 1b. 1 25

 

Red Tape, of fine quality, per doz. 75

 

Round Bobbing, 62 1/2

 

Paste Board, superior quality, per gross 4 00

 

Sail Needles, do 1 50

 

And the committee recommends the adoption of the fol-

 

lowing resolution: —

 

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, Thai on

 

the delivery of the articles above enumerated, in the State

 

Library, the governor and council are hereby authorised

 

and required to settle the account of Joseph N. Lewis, ac-

 

cording to the prices respectively annexed.

 

No. 9.

 

Resolution in favor of the State Librarian.

Passed Jan.24, 1832

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the

 

treasurer of the western shore, be and he hereby is author-

 

ised and directed to pay to the State Librarian annually, in

 

addition to his present salary, the sum of three hundred

 

dollars in quarterly payments.

 

No. 10.

 

Resolution requiring the treasurer of the western shore, to

pay to his Excellency the Governor, or to his order, a

 

certain sum of money therein mentioned.

 

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That

 

the treasurer of the western shore, be and he is hereby di-

 

rected to pay to his excellency the governor of Maryland,

 

or his order, the sum of five hundred dollars, and the amount

 

of the appropriation made at the last session of the legisla-

 

ture to the late governor, to be expended by him in pro-

 

curing furniture and making repairs at the government

 

house.
