1831.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted. That any three of the afore-
said commissioners shall constitute a board, and shall be
competent to transact all the business, and perform all the
duties that are required oi the commissioners aforesaid, by
the act aforesaid.

CHAPTER 144.

An act relating to the Tobacco Ware Houses, in Anne Arun-
del County.


Passed Feb.28,1832

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That so much of the forty-sixth section of the act, passed
at November session, eighteen hundred and one, chapter
sixty-three, entitled, An act to regulate the inspection of
tobacco, as authorises the justices of levy courts to sell to-
bacco ware-houses; be, and the same is hereby repealed
so far as the same relates to Anne Arundel county,

Repeal.

CHAPTER 145.

 

An act to change the name of Lewis Hunt, of Baltimore
County, into the name of Lewis Cockey Hunt.

Passed Feb.28,1832

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
it may be lawful for Lewis Hunt, of Baltimore county, to
insert in his name the surname of the late Lewis Cockey,
deceased, and the name of the said Lewis Hunt, shall be,
and the same is hereby changed iato the name of Lewis
Cockey Hunt.

Name allowed.

CHAPTER 146.

 

A further supplement to the act, entitled An act for the bene-
fit of the Trustees of Garrison Forrest Academy, and the
Franklin Academy, in Baltimore County.

Passed Feb. 27,1832

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the money appropriated by the original act to the two aca-
demies therein mentioned, shall hereafter be equally divi-
ded among the four academies, in said county, in the fol-
