CHAPTER 91.

A supplement to an act entitled, An act relating to certain
Books and Records in the Orphan's Court of Baltimore
county, passed at December session, eighteen hundred and

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That the Orphan's Court for Baltimore county, be,
and they are hereby authorised and empowered, to direct
the register of wills for said county, to make out a general
alphabet or index, to the records of the wills, and of such
other matters and things recorded in the said court, or in

the office of the said register, as they may think the public
good and convenience may require; and the said court may
allow the said register a suitable compensation for any ser-
vices performed by him under act; which compensation
shall be ascertained, apportioned and levied, in the manner
prescribed by the act to which this is a supplement, in re-
lation to the compensation therein authorised to be allowed

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That it shall be the duty of the
said register, for the time being, to keep up such general
alphabets or indexes, from time to time, hereafter, as the
records in the said court or office shall be completed, and
for his services thus required, he shall be entitled to have,

ed, the sum of ten cents, for each will, or other matter or
thing recorded, iu addition to the amount now chargeable
for recording such paper.

 

CHAPTER 92

Passed Feb l5, 1832

Aw act supplementary to act passed at December session eigh-
teen hundred and thirty one, entitled. An act to authorise
the rebuilding of a bridge over Conewingo creek, at or
near Abijah Fenn's in Cecil county.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, by the act to which this is a supplement, it
is supposed to be left discretional with the commissioners
of Cecil cbnnty, to cause the bridge in said bill mentioned
to be built; And whereas, The public necessity requires that
said act be deemed imperative in respect of said building,
and of the levy of sufficient monies for that object: —
Therefore,

Levy directed.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the said commissioners of Cecil county, be, and they are
