CHAPTER 3.
An Act to alter and change the Names of Levin Wall Hall
his Wife Rose Ann Hall, and his Daughter Mary Eliza-
beth Hall, of Dorchester County.

Section 1, Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the names of Levin Wall Hall, his wife
Rose Ann Hall, and infant daughter Mary Elizabeth Hall,
be and they are hereby altered and changed unto that of
Levin Hall Wall, Rose Ann Wall, and Mary Elizabeth
Wall, and it shall and may be lawful for the said Levin
Hall Wall, Rose Ann Wall, and Mary Elizabeth Wall, at
all times hereafter to be called and known by, to hold and
use, the names of Levin Hall Wall, Rose Ann Wall, and
Mary Elizabeth Wall, and by these names to purchase,
hold, sell, contract, convey, or devise, and to sue and be
sued in any court of law or equity.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That all securities, promises,
contracts, assurances, devises, deeds, and lawful acts what-
soever, to be made or done by or to the said Levin Hall
Wall, Rose Ann Wall, and Mary Elizabeth Wall, shall be of
the same force and effect, and of equal avail, to all intents
and purposes, as if the names of the said Levin Hall Wall,
Rose Ann Wall, and Mary Elizabeth Wall, had originally
been their true and proper names.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the name of Caleb Smith, of Dorchester
county, be and the same is hereby altered and changed to
that of Caleb Bell, and it shall and may be lawful for the
said Caleb Bell, at all times hereafter, to be called and
known by, to hold and use, the name of Caleb Bell, and
