CHAP. 32.
Associate
judges to at-
tend them.

LAWS OF MARYLAND.
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That it shall be the duty of
the associate judges of the fifth judicial district of the
state of Maryland, or some one of them, to attend the said
intermediate terms or sessions of Allegany county court,
and that in case of the non-attendance of both, or either
of them, of said judges, it shall be the duty of the said
clerk to adjourn said court from day to day until the said
judges, or one of them, shall attend.

CHAPTER 31.
An Act for the benefit of George Gardiner and William
Mudd, of Charles County.

Preamble

WHEREAS, it has been represented to this General As-
sembly that George Gardiner and William Mudd, of
Charles county, have at their individual expense cut a ditch
and constructed n bridge over the main stream of Zachia
Swamp, by which the public convenience is greatly pro-
moted — Therefore,

Levy court to
accept bridge,
&c.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the levy court of said county be and they
nre hereby authorised and required, to accept said bridge,
and that the same he kept in repair as other similar bridges

Allowance
therefor.

now are on the public roads in said county.
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the said levy court are
hereby authorised and empowered, in their discretion, to
allow therefor to said George Gardiner and William Mudd,
such sum as in their estimation may be just and equitable,
according; to the circumstances of the case, to be levied and
paid as other county charges are.

I An Act to incorporate the Trustees of the Clover Hill
School and Meeting House, in Baltimore County.

Preamble.

WHEREAS Letitia M'Creery, of Baltimore county, by
indenture dated the twenty-seventh day of November, in
the year eighteen hundred and thirty, conveyed five-
eighths of an acre of land, part of a tract called Hooker's
