No. 60.
A Resolution in favour of Mary Simpson, of Allegany
County.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the treasurer of the western shore pay to William Shaw,
or order, for the use of Mary Simpson, of Allegany coun-
ty, during her widowhood, in quarter-yearly payments, a
sum of money equal to the half pay of a sergeant, in con-
sideration for the services of her late husband, Rezin
Simpson, who was a soldier of the revolutionary war.

A Resolution providing for the payment of the Members
and Officers of the Legislature.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the treasurer of the western shore pay to each member of
the senate and of the house of delegates, and their officers,
who may be present, the per diem allowance to which they
are respectively entitled, since the close of the journal of
accounts, up to the twenty-sixth instant inclusive.

passed at the present session.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the governor and council be and they are hereby requested,
to have published without delay, in two newspapers printed
in the city of Baltimore, and in one newspaper in each of the
counties in which a newspaper is printed in this state, once
a week for three successive weeks, the following public acts
