gained admission, and that so far as the present company
are let into the rights and possessions of the Potomac com-
pany, they are bound to take those rights subject to the obli-
gations and restrictions imposed upon that company.

A Resolution in favour of Martin Bourke, of Washington
County.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the fine imposed by Washington county court at March
term eighteen hundred and thirty, upon Martin Bourke,
of said county, for selling merchandise at auction without
license, be and the same is hereby remitted; and if the same
has been paid, the treasurer of the western shore is hereby
authorised and required to refund the sum so paid over to
the said Bourke, or his order.

A Resolution in favour of Thomas Osborn, late Sheriff
and Collector of Prince-George's County.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
all proceedings on the judgment or judgments obtained by
the state of Mary land against Thomas Osborn, former she-
riff and collector of Prince-George's county, and his sure-
ties, be and the same are hereby suspended until the fif-
teenth day of July, eighteen hundred and thirty-three:
Provided, that nothing herein contained shall be construed
to release the right of the state to any property, real or per-
sonal, which has already been taken in execution of the
said Thomas Osborn, or his securities, or to release the lien
of the said judgments upon any real estate of the said
Thomas Osborn, or his securities; And provided also, that
this resolution shall not take effect unless the securities of
the said Thomas Osborn, or their executors or administra-
tors, shall certify, in writing, to the clerk of Prince-George's
