A Resolution directing; the Governor and Council to appoint
two Planters from each of the six most extensive Tobacco
growing Counties in the State, and two Shippers of To-
bacco, to examine into the condition of the Public To-
bacco Warehouses, and the different Seites on the Basin.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the governor and council be and they are hereby directed,
to appoint two planters from each of the six most extensive
tobacco growing counties in the state, and two shippers of
tobacco, who are desired to meet in the city of Baltimore
on the third Monday of July next, for the purpose of ex-
amining into the condition of the public tobacco warehouses,
and the different seites on the basin, and report to the next
legislature their views of the expediency or inexpediency
of concentrating the inspection of tobacco in, the city of
Baltimore.

A Resolution relating to the Common Free School Fund.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the treasurer of the western shore be, and he is hereby au-
thorised and directed, to invest the cash now standing to
the credit of the common free school fund, and all future
receipts which may by law be placed to the credit of said
fund, in the reserved shares for which the state may have
a right to subscribe, in any of the banks of this state.
