No. 18.
A Resolution requesting the Governor to cause to be bound
up the Pamphlet Laws of the several States and Territo-
ries of the United States as may be now in the State Li-
brary.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
his excellency the governor, be requested to cause to be
bound up as many copies, not exceeding three of each, of
all the pamphlet laws of the several states and territories
of the United States as may be now in the state library;
and in case at least one complete copy of the laws of any
state or territory cannot be found, unless there be already
that number, or a digest of such laws bound in the said li-
brary, to take proper measures to procure a complete copy
thereof

A Resolution authorising the Governor to subscribe for
Harris's Entries.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the governor be and he is hereby authorised and requested,
to subscribe on behalf of the state, for fifty copies of an
edition of Harris' Entries, proposed to be published by
Lucas and Deaver of the city of Baltimore, provided that
the cost of the same shall not exceed ten dollars per copy.
Resolved, That the treasurer of the western shore shall,
upon the certificate of the governor that fifty copies of the
aforesaid work have been deposited in the council chamber
for the use of the state, pay to the said Lucas and Deaver,
or to their order, the sum of five hundred dollars, out oi
any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
Resolved, That the governor cause one copy of the above
work to be delivered to each of the clerks of the county
courts and registers of wills, and to each of the clerks of
the courts of appeals and register in chancery, to the clerk
of the criminal court in Baltimore, and also to the clerk to
the commissioners of insolvent debtors, for the use of their
respective offices, and the remaining copies to be deposited
in the state library.
