DANIEL MARTIN, ESQUIRE, GOVERNOR.
faithful discharge of their fluties as commissioners, which
said bonds shall be lodged with the clerks of the county
courts of each said counties,and may be Rued as any pub-
lic bonds now are, and a certified copy of said bonds, un-
der the seal of either of the county court clerks aforesaid,
shall be evidence in any court of law or entity in this
state.

CHAP. 107.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That in case of the death or
refusal to act of any of the commissioners herein named,
the commissioner who shall have been appointed to act
with him, may appoint some other person, resident of the
county in which he was a commissioner, to act in his
place, and the person so appointed, shall have the same
powers and authorities as are vested in the said commis-
sioners by this act.

Vacancies.

Sec. 4. And he it enacted, That the said commissioners,
or a majority of them, shall render to the commissioners
of said counties respectively, at their meetings next after
the completion of said bridge, a true, full and lair account,
of all monies by them laid out and expended by virtue of
this act, in building and completing said bridge, and the
said commissioners in the respective counties, shall make
such compensation to said commissioners as they in their
judgment shall think proper.

An Act for the relief of Susanna Holmes, of Balti-
more County.

Passed Feb 17

Section 1. Be it enactd by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Susanna Holmes, of Baltimore county,
be and she is hereby divorced from bed, board, and mu-
tual cohabitation, with her husband, William S. Holmes.

'Divorce.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the said William S.
Holmes shall not, by virtue of his marriage with the said
Susanna Holmes, be authorised to have or claim any right
or interest in the estate, real, personal or mixed, of the
said Susanna Holmes, whether acquired in any manner
whatever, before or after the passage of this act; nor shall
Susanna Holmes be authorised to have or claim any right
or interest in the estate, real, personal or mixed, of the
said William S Holmes, whether acquired in any manner
whatever, before or after the passage of this act.
