Sub-section 6, strike out and insert the following in lieu
thereof: ''All licenses granted after the passage of this Act
in either of said districts hereinbefore mentioned, which may
declare and decide by vote aforesaid "against license," shall
cease and become void after the first day of January 1875,
and the Comptroller of the Treasury shall refund to the
holder or holders of said license the proportion of money for
the residue of the year such license has to run, from the 1st
day of January 1875."
