The House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Prince George's county to subscribe to the
capital stock of the Washington and Point Lookout Rail
Road Company,

Being on third reading,

Mr. Fields submitted the following amendments :

Amend section 1, line 5, (printed bill,) by inserting after
the word ''company," the words, "and of the Southern
Maryland Rail Road Company."

Amend section 1, line 6, (printed bill,) by adding after the
word "shares," the words, "to each Company respectively,
in proportion to the number of miles of each road respective-
ly within the said county."

Amend sections 6, 7, 8 and 10, by striking out the word
"company," wherever it occurs, and inserting in place there-
of the word "companies."

Amend section 8, line 4, (printed bill,) by inserting after
the word "bonds," "to each of said companies respectively."

Amend title of bill by adding the words "and of the South-
ern Maryland Rail Road Company."

Section 1, line 5, (printed bill,) strike out "two hundred
and fifty," and insert "one hundred and seventy-five."

Strikeout "1875," and insert "1874," in section 11.
