Which bill is in the following words :

An Act to authorize the County Commissioners of Carroll
county, to levy for such sum of money as may be requisite to
furnish the office of the Register of Wills of said county with
the necessary record books, stationery and fuel.

SECTTON 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Carroll county, be
and they are hereby authorized and empowered to levy, for
the use of the office of the Register of Wills of said county,
such sum of money as may be requisite to furnish said office
with all necessary record books, stationery and fuel; provided,
that said sum so levied for shall not, in any one year, when
added to the net proceeds of said office, exceed the sum of
three thousand dollars; and the said County Commissioners
are hereby authorized and empowered, previous to making
said levy, to require the said Register to furnish to them,
under oath, a statement showing the net proceeds of his said
office, together with a statement of the costs of the necessary
record books, stationery and fuel used in said office in each
and every year.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

The President then stated the question to be, shall the bill
pass notwithstanding the objections of the Governor.
