Mr. Steiner submitted the following amendment :

Line 132, strike out "to pay to John H. Handy for legal
services, in the case of the State vs. The Cumberland and
Pennsylvania Rail Road Company, five hundred dollars."

Which was rejected.

Mr. Walsh moved to reconsider the vote by which the
word "five" was struck out of line 36, (under head of Legisla-
ture,) and the word "three" inserted.

Which was rejected.

Said bill, as amended, was then read the third time and
