Gentlemen of the House of Delegates :

We respectfully ask your Honorable Body to return to the
Senate, for further consideration, the bill entitled an Act to
amend the charter of the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Com-
pany, and to repeal so much of the Act passed March 22d,
1833, entitled an Act to provide for the continuation of the
Baltimore and Ohio Rail Road to Harper's Ferry, and for
other purposes.

gates .

Mr. Stevens, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably

The House bill entitled an Act to authorize a recodification
of the Public General and Public Local Laws of this State,
to provide for the payment of the same, and to purchase
copies thereof when printed,

Being on second reading,

Mr. Fields moved to postpone the consideration of the bill
until 12 1/2 o'clock, Monday, April 6th.

Which was adopted.

The House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 1 of Arti-
cle XXVIII. of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
"County Commissioners," and to re-enact the same with
amendments,
