land," entitled "Comptroller,"

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled "An Act relating to Building Associa-
tions, Homestead Associations, and Land Companies in this

State,"

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled "An Act to provide for cases of vacancy
in the office of Governor, according to the 7th section of Art-
ticle H. of the Constitution,"

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

Senate bill entitled "An Act to add additional sections to
Article LXXV. of the Code of Public General Laws, sub-
title 'Practice,' enabling the plaintiff in any judgment to
acquire a lien on the judgment debtors property in another
county, or in the city of Baltimore, where judgment was not
originally obtained, to follow Section 83 of said Article."

Being on second reading,

Mr. Brattan submitted the following amendment:

Second line after the word "judgment," insert the words
"under seal of the Circuit Court where the judgment was ob-
tained."

Which was adopted.

Mr. Davis submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

After the word "judgment," on the first line of section 83
b., add the words "obtained against any defendant in the
county or city where the said defendant may reside."

Which was adopted.

Pending the further consideration of said bill,

Mr. Davis moved to adjourn,

Which was determined in the negative.
