The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and deliv-
ered the following House bills :

The House bill entitled an Act to regulate the issuing of
licenses for the sale of spirituous and fermented liquors in
this State.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Temperance.

The House bill entitled an Act to refund A. S. Abell, of
Baltimore county, a sum of money.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

The House bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of the
Frederick and Pennsylvania Line Rail Road Company.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

The House bill entitled an Act authorizing the Treasurer
of the State to refund to John Bell, a sum of money overpaid
into the Treasury.

Which was read the first time and referred to Committee
on Finance.

The House bill entitled an Act relating to Pharmacists,
vending at retail drugs and chemicals, in the city of Balti-
more.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Balti-
more City Senators.

The House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments, section 20 of Article XXVIII. of the Code of
