EVENING SESSION.

THURSDAY EVENING, April 2nd, 1874.
The Senate met at 8 o'clock, P. M.

Present at roll call the following Senators :

Messrs. President, Aydelott, Blake, Brewer, Billingsley,
Crawford, Claggett, Davis, Demon, Earle, Fields, Getty,
Longwell, Lloyd, Mudd, McCulloh, Stevens, Steiner, Spen-
cer, Suit, Tuck, Williams, Walsh—23.

Mr. Williams moved that the regular order of business be
postponed until half-past nine o'clock.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Stevens moved that the Senate proceed to the consider-
ation of the "City Extension Bill."

Which was adopted.

The question recurring upon the passage of the bill,

It was passed, with proposed amendments, by yeas and nays
as follows:

Business.
