Line 50, amend, by striking out the words "two thousand,"
and inserting in lieu thereof, the words "fifteen hundred."

Under the head of Public Schools.

Amend line 75, by inserting after the word "dollars," the
following: ' 'provided, that this amount of one hundred
thousand, includes the fifty thousand dollars, appropriated by
the Senate bill for this propose, if said Senate bill should be-
come a law.''

Under the head of Legislature.

Line 86, strike out the word "five," and insert the word
"three."

Under same head.

Line 94, strike out the word "twelve," and insert in lieu
thereof, the word ''seven."

Under the head of Miscellaneous.

Line 108, strike out the word "six hundred," and insert
in lieu thereof, "five hundred and forty."

Line 110, strike out "six hundred," and insert "five hun-
dred and forty," also after the word "assistant," strike out
the words "six hundred," and insert "five hundred and
forty."

Line 114, strike out the words "six hundred," and insert
in lieu thereof "five hundred and forty."

Which were adopted.

The hour of 12 o'clock, having arrived.

The further reading of the bill was postponed in order to
vote upon the Revenue and Tax bill, made the order for
12 o'clock, this day.

Mr. Earle moved a call of the Senate.
Which was adopted.

Mr. Denson moved that further proceedings under the call
be dispensed with.
