The House bill entitled an Act regulating Coal Mines, in
Allegany and Garrett counties.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

The House bill entitled an Act to prevent swine from run-
ning at large in the town of Knoxville, in Frederick county.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Steiner, Brattan and Tuck.

The House bill entitled an Act relating to the catching and
destruction of fish, in Pocomoke Sound and River, in Somer-
set county.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Brattan, Tuck and Steiner.

The House bill entitled an Act authorizing the Commis-
sioners of Anne Arundel county, to settle the accounts of
Thomas Berry and others.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Tuck, Brattan and Earle.

The House bill entitled an Act to license Hucksters, in
Washington county.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs. Clag-
gett, Phelps and Crawford.

The House bill entitled an Act authorizing the-city of Bal-
timore, at its discretion, to purchase the property of the Wes-
tern Maryland Rail Road Company.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Balti-
more City Senators.

The House bill entitled an Act amending the charter of
the city of Cumberland.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs. Mc-
Culloh, Lloyd and Walsh.

The House bill entitled an Act to provide for the passage
of locomotives, cars, passengers and freights over connecting
railroads, in the State of Maryland.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Internal Improvements.

The House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Commis-
sioners of Baltimore county, to grant rights-of-way through
the jail lot of said county, to the Towsontown Rail Road
Company, and to the Maryland and Pennsylvania Rail Road
Company,
