Which was adopted.

Mr. Stevens, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 8 and 9
of Article IX. of the Code of Public General Laws, title
''Assignment of Choses in Action, ' and to re-enact the same
with amendments.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Tuck, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably

The Senate bill entitled au Act to repeal section 119 of an
Act passed 1868. chapter 471, entitled an Act to repeal Arti-
cle XXVI. of the Code of Public General Laws, and to enact
n substitute therefor, and to repeal section 22 of Article XVI.,
sections 99 to 103 of Article LXXV., and sections 33 to 43
of Article LXXXVIII. of the Code of Public General Laws,
and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Stevens, from the Committee on Labor and Immigra-
tion, reported favorably

The House bill entitled an Act to appoint a Commissioner
of Immigration.

Which was read the second time.
On motion by Mr. Walsh, it was

Ordered, That it he entered on the Journal, that if the
Senator from Harford, had been present when the amendment
to the bill extending the limits of Baltimore, fixing the day
of election on the first Tuesday in May, was presented, lie
would have voted in the affirmative.

Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, reported favor-
ably

The Senate bill entitled au Act to prevent any Officer,
State, county or municipal, from using funds entrusted to
his care and keeping, for his own benefit.

Which was read the second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments the 23rd section of Article XLI. of the Code of
Public General Laws, title "Fish and Fisheries,'' sub-title
"Patuxent."

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as
