On motion by Mr. Denson,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judical Proceed-
ings to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal section 119,
chapter 471, of the Acts of 1868, title "Turnpikes," and to
re-enact the said section with amendments.

Mr. Claggett, from the Committee on Federal Relations,
reported favorably

The Senate bill entitled an Act to designate the arbitra-
tors, to ascertain and fix the boundary between the States of
Virginia and Maryland.

Which was read the first time.

The Senate bill entitled au Act for the relief of the Cam-
bridge Female Seminary,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as
