Session, 1868, chapter 330, and sections 47 and 48 of said
Article XVI., enacted at January Session, 1872, chapter 294,
and re-enact the following as sections 47, 48, 51 and 52 of
said Article XVI. of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled
"Prince George's County," under the head of "Collectors,"
in their stead.

Endorsed ''Passed by yeas and nays."

The Senate bill entitled an Act granting assent of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland, to a bequest contained in the
last will and testament of Amelia Mathews, (colored,) late of
the city of Baltimore, deceased, to the Rev. Mr. Miller, the
Priest in charge of St. Frances Xavier Colored Roman Cath-
olic Church, located in Calvert street, near Pleasant street,
in the city of Baltimore, or to his successor, for the use and
benefit of said Church.

Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."

Also, returned

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal certain sections of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Baltimore city, relating to
streets, and to re-enact other sections in lieu thereof.

The Senate bill entitled an Act for the relief of the Cam-
bridge and Chesapeake Rail Road Company.

Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."

House bill authorizing Joshua F. Cockey, of Baltimore
county, executor of Joshua F. Cockey, late of Baltimore
county, deceased, to donate a lot of ground to a Church or
Religious Society.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Davis, Fields and Stevens.

Also,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 46 of Ar-
ticle XXVIII. of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"County Commissioners,"' sub-title "Private Roads," and to
re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs. Mc-
Cullough; Walsh and Lloyd.
