And be it further enacted, That until the final adjustment
and settlement of the said line of boundary, the temporary
line across the Chesapeake Bay, known as the Lovett-David-
son line, shall be faithfully observed by the citizens of the
said two States.

The Governor is hereby requested to forward a copy of this
Act to the Governor of Maryland, with a request that he
present the same to the General Assembly of that State, for
their concurrent action in the premises.

This Act shall be in force from its passage.

Keeper of the Bolls of Virginia.

Relations.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to prevent the sale of any
spirituous or intoxicating liquors within the limits of Dame's
Quarter District, in Somerset county,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The President announced the order of the day, being
The House bill in relation to Revenue and Taxes.
Being on third reading,
Mr. Steiner submitted the following amendment:

Section 2, line 3, insert, "if registered in a Port of Mary-
land," after the word "vessels."

Which was adopted.

Also, the following amendment:

Section 2, line 7, strike out "whether" and insert "'or else-
where."

Which was rejected.

Mr. Fields submitted the following amendment:

Section 3, strike out "Land and Loan Companies or Corpo-
rations."

Which was adopted.

Mr. Stevens submitted the following amendment:
