Crain, a sum of money erroneously paid into the State
Treasury, as tax on his commission as Circuit Judge,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to promote the growth of
Fish and Terrapins, in the waters of this State,

Being on second reading,

Mr. Earle submitted the following amendment:

Strike out the word "seine" wherever it occurs, and insert
words "haul seine."

Which was adopted.

Mr. Brattan submitted the following amendment:

"Provided none of the provisions of this Act shall apply
to Somerset, Cecil and Calvert counties.

a third reading.

ticle XXIX. of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Cir-
cuit Court of Baltimore," and to re-enact the same with
