The Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Allegany county, to correctly assess and
charge the devisees and assignees of the late Richard Caton,
of Maryland, and his several daughters, with the lands be-
longing to them, in said county, from January 1st, 1873, and
thereafter, so that the taxes really due thereon, may be cor-
rectly ascertained and paid,
