Leave was granted to Committee on Finance to report a
bill to repeal and re-enact chapter 172 of the Act of 1872,
relating to the tax on the shares of National Banks, in this

State.

The House bill entitled au Act to amend further the Act
entitled an Act to incorporate the Baltimore and Liberty
Turnpike Company, in Carroll county, passed at January
Session, 1866, and" as amended by the Act of 1868, chapter
151, changing the name of said corporation to that of the
Baltimore, Carroll and Liberty Turnpike Road Company of
Carroll and Frederick counties, and to repeal sections 2 and
3 of the Act of 1870, chapter 232, and to re-enact the said
sections 2 and 3 with amendments,
