2 of an Act entitied an Act to authorize the building of a
bridge over the river Patapsco, passed at January Session,
1856, chapter 215.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Stevens, from a Select Committee, reported favorably
on

The House bill entitled au Act to repeal sections 1, 3 and
5 of chapter 402 of the Acts of 1867, entitled an Act to en-
large and confirm the powers and authority of St. Mary's
Industrial School for Boys, of the city of Baltimore, and re-
enact the same with amendments, and to add an additional
section thereto.

Which was read the second time.

Also, from the Committee on Corporations, reported

The House bill entitled an Act to amend an Act passed at
the Session of the General Assembly of Maryland, held in the
year 1868, entitled an Act to incorporate the Baltimore and
Swann Lake Passenger Railway Company.

Which was read the second time.
Mr. Denson called up

The House "bill entitled an Act to repeal section 16 of
chapter 476 passed at January Session, 1870, entitled an Act
to provide for the creation and regulation of incorporated
companies in the State of Maryland, and to re-enact the
same so as to read as follows.

Which was read the third time and failed to pass by yeas
and nays as follows :
