Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

On motion by Mr. Williams,
The Senate adjourned.

THURSDAY, March 26th, 1874.

The Senate met.

Prayer by Rev. Mr. Hedges.

Present at roll call the following Senators :

Messrs. President, Aydelott, Brewer, Billingsley, Brattan,
Crawford, Claggett, Davis, Denson, Earle, Fields, Knight,
Longwell, Lloyd, McCulloh, Phelps, Stevens, Steiner,
Spencer, Suit, Tuck, Williams, Walsh—23.

The proceedings of yesterday were read and approved.
Mr. Phelps, from a Select Committee, reported

The House bill entitled an Act relating to scooping for
Oysters, in the waters of Dorchester county, with the follow-
ing amendment:

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Section B, line 3, strike out all after the word "named" to
the word "by" in the 4th line.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Williams moved to reconsider the vote by which the
Senate bill relating to Fish and Fisheries, in the Patuxent
River was passed.

Which was adopted.

Also, to reconsider the vote by which the House amend-
ments were concurred in.

Which was adopted,
