The House bill entitled an Act to pay George E. Had-
claway, a Justice of the Peace of the State of Maryland, the
sum of two hundred and fifty dollars, as fees in certain
cases.

Which wa* read the first time and referred to Committee
on Finance.

Also,

The House bill entitled an Act to provide for the taxation
of dogs, in Montgomery and Washington counties.

Which was read the first time and referred to Committee
on Agriculture.

Also,

The House bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 81 of the
Acts passed at January Session, 1872, relating to catching
Oysters with scoops, in the waters of Dorchester county, and
to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Phelps, Claggett and Crawford.

Also,

The House bill entitled an Act giving the sanction of the
General Assembly of Maryland, to the bequest in the last
will and testament of Alice M. Gittings, late of Cecil county,
deceased, to the vestry of St. James' Church of Cecil county,
Maryland.

Which was read the first time and referred to Committee
on Judicial Proceedings.

an Act to incorporate the Methodist Episcopal Church, in
Frederick, passed February the 24th, 1841, chapter 125.
