Said bill, as amended, was then read the second time.

Mr. Stevens, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported

The Senate bill entitled au Act to enable the Court of Ap-
peals to re-hear the case of Samuel Barth vs. Rosenfeld &
Company, if in the judgment and opinion of the Court of
Appeals it would tend to do justice between the parties.

Which was read the first time.
Also, reported

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 110 of
Article XVIII., entitled "Chancery," of the Code of Public
General Laws.

Which was read the first time.

Also,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to pay to Thomas Dent,
Justice of the Peace for St. Mary's county, and also James
H. Sanders, a Constable of said county, for services rendered
to Captain Timmons in the execution of the Oyster Laws of
this State,

Was considered and referral to the Committee on Finance.

The Senate bill entitled an Act for the better security of
creditors,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows :

Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates.

The House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Commis-
sioners of Wicomico county, to levy taxes on the assessable
property of said county, for the purpose of purchasing a site
on which to erect a Court House and Jail, and furnish the
same.
