The House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 102 of Ar-
ticle I. of the Code of Public Local Laws, title ''Allegany
county," sub-title "Manufactures and Minors," and re-enact
the same with amendments.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Walsh, from the Committee on Agriculture, reported

The House bill entitled an Act for the promotion of Agri-
culture and the Mechanical and Household Arts in Harford
county, and

On motion by Mr. Walsh,
Said bill was referred to the Committee on Finance.

Mr. Longwell, from a Select Committee, reported favora-
bly on

The House bill entitled an Act to repeal the 107th, 108th,
109th, 110th, 112th, 114th, 115th, 118th and 119th, sections
of Article VII. of the Code of Public Local Laws of the
State of Maryland, relating to the city of Westminster, in
Carroll county and to re-enact the same in an amended or
different form.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, reported
favorably on

The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend and re-enact sec-
tions 1, 4, 18 and 58 to 86 inclusive of Article LVI. of the
Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Licenses," to repeal
section 19, of said Article and to add further sections to said
Article, regulating the sale of intoxicating liquors.

The Senate then proceeded to the order of the day being

The Senate bill entitled an Act for the relief of the Pas-
senger Railway Companies in the city of Baltimore, and to
regulate the fares for transporting passengers.

Said bill being on second reading.

Mr. Stevens submitted the following amendment:

"Strike out the enacting clause of the bill."

(By unanimous consent,)

Mr. Stevens withdrew his amendment.
