Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, reported

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 99, 102,
103, 104, 105, 110, 118, 119, 120, 123 and 124, of Article
IV. of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Baltimore
city," sub-title "Auctions," and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

Which was read the first time.

McCulloh, from the Committee on Pensions, reported

The Senate bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to pay the claim of Ruth P. Griffith.

Which was read the first time.

The hour of 12 o'clock having arrived,

The Senate proceeded to the consideration of the order of
the day.

On motion by Mr. Billingsley,
The order of the day was postponed for 10 minutes.
Mr. Mudd called up

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 22 of an
Act passed January Session, 1872, chapter 128, entitled an
Act to repeal section 22 of Article XLI. of the Code of Pub-
lic General Laws, entitled "Fish and Fisheries," sub-titled
"Patuxent," regulating the right of fishing in the Patuxent
river and its tributaries, and re-enact the same with sub-
sections.

Said bill being oa second reading,

Mr. Mudd submitted the following amendment :

Amend by inserting the word "not" after the word "nets"
in line 8 of section 22.

Which was adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was read the second time and or-
dered to be engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Williams called up

The Senate bill entitled an Act to establish a State Board
of Health.

Which was read the third time and passed by yeas and
nays as follows :
