The House bill entitled an Act to add a new section to Ar-
ticle XIV., Code of Public Local Laws, title "Kent County,"
sub-title "Roads," &c.

Which was read the first time and referred to Senators
Spencer, Williams and Aydelott.

Also,

The House bill entitled an Act to amend section 8 of Arti-
cle IV. of the Constitution of the State of Maryland.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.

Also,

The House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Commis-
sioners of Wicomico county to levy taxes on the assessable
property of said county, for the purpose of purchasing a site
on which to erect a Court House and Jail, and furnish the

same.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Crawford, Claggett and Phelps.

Also,

The House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 182 of Ar-
ticle XVI. of the Public Local Laws, relating to Prince
George's county, entitled "Weights and Measures," and to
amend and re-enact the same.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs. Suit,
Mudd and Steiner.

Also,

The House bill entitled an Act to repeal, amend and re-en-
act section 94 of the Act of Assembly, chapter 294, passed
January Session, 1870, entitled an Act to add additional sec-
tions to the Code of Public Local Laws for Charles county,
under the head of "Roads."

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Mudd, Steiner and Tuck.

Also,

The House bill entitled an Act for the relief of Thomas
Brashears, of Prince George's county.

Which was the first time and referred to the Committee on
Finance.

Also,

The House bill entitled an Act to protect partridges and
