The Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the town ot
Sharptown, Wicomico county.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to appropriate the sum of
fifteen hundred dollars for refurnishing the Rooms of the
Court of Appeals of Maryland.

The Senate bill entitled an Act authorizing the appoint-
ment of an additional Justice of the Peace for Dorchester
county.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Wicomico county to build a bridge over
Wetipquin creek, in Wicomico county.

The Senate bill relating to the publication of county
expenses.

Severally endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."
Also, delivered

The Joint Resolution instructing the Senators, and re-
questing the Representatives in Congress from Maryland, to
use their best efforts to secure the passage of a law requiring
the National Banks to retain in their vaults the gold interest
they may receive from the United States Government, upon
the reserve, &c.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Federal Relations.

Also,

The Senate bill entitled au Act to provide for additional
compensation to Charles E. Hayward and Sewell J. Mill-
bourne, of Dorchester county, and to John W. Crisfield, of
Somerset county, for professional services.

Endorsed, "Reported unfavorbly from the Committee on
Ways and Means, aud the report adopted."

Also,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 282,
section 1 of the Act of 1862, in so much thereof as relates to
weighers of hay and straw at Canton, in Baltimore county.

Endorsed, "Reported unfavorably from the Committee on
Ways and Means and she report adopted."

The House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to pay the claims of John T. E. Hyde, William Mur-
doch and others.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.
