On motion by Mr. Stevens,

Leave was granted to the Senators from Baltimore city to
report a bill entitled an Act to enable the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore to subscribe to the amount of two hun-
dred and fifty thousand dollars, to the capital stock of the-
Washington City and Point Lookout Rail Road Company.

On motion by Mr. Blake,
The Senate adjourned.

EVENING SESSION.

MONDAY EVENING, March 16th, 1874.
The Senate met pursuant to adjournment.

Present at roll call the following Senators :
