Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

OFFFICE OF THE SECRETARY OF THE SENATE,

Annapolis, March 10th, 1874.

The following Acts of Assembly were this day presented
to his Excellency, the Governor, for his approval.

No. 55. An Act in relation to horses and carriages kept at
livery in Harford county.

No. 56. An Act to pay the Electors of President and Vice
President of the United States, their officers and attendants.

No. 57. An Act to repeal and re-enact section 1 of Article
XLV. of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Hus-
band and Wife."

No. 58. An Act to prevent stock from running at large in
Quantico, Wicomico county.

No. 59. An Act to add an additional section to Article
XL. of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Fines and
Forfeitures."

No. 62. An Act to refund to Morgan H. Clark, of Wash-
ington county, a sum of money.

No. 63. An Act to authorize Hashabiah Haines, of Carroll
county, to settle his account as guardian to Wm. L. Haines.

No. 64. An Act to repeal section 78 of Article XV. of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title "Montgomery County," sub-
title "Rockville."

No. 65. An Act relating to fences in Wicomico county.''

No. 66. An Act to authorize the transfer of certain Land
Records and Extracts of Deeds from the office of the Clerk of
the Court of Appeals, to the office of the Commissioner of the
Land Office.

No. 68. An Act to enlarge and define the powers of the
Boys' Home Society of Baltimore.

No. 69. An Act tp incorporate the Frederick city Super-
phospate Manufacturing Company.

No. 70. An Act supplementary to an Act incorporating
the Worcester Rail Road Company.

Secretary Senate.

The Secretary of State, appeared and delivered a commu-
nication from His Excellency, the Governor,
Endorsed, "On Executive Business."
