The Senate bill entitled an Act to allow to William Mc-
Keppler, late Clerk of Washington county, to complete the
records and other unfinished work in his office, at the expira-
tion of his official term.

Mr. Claggett, from a Select Committee, reported

The Senate bill entitled an Act authorizing the County
Commissioners of Washington county to purchase certain
parcels of ground lying contiguous to the Court House.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Phelps, from a Select Committee, reported

The Senate bill entitled an Act for the relief of the Cam-
bridge and Chesapeake Rail Road Company.

Which was read the first time.
On motion by Mr. Brattan,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Brattan, Earle and Tuck to
report a bill for the protection of Fish in certain waters of
Somerset county.

Mr. Stevens presented the petition of the Baltimore Annual
Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church, in relation to
the Local Option law.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Tem-
perance.

Mr. Brattan, from the Commiteee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 7 of Ar-
ticle X. of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Attach-
ments," and to re-enact the same with an amendment.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Aydelott, from a Select Committee, reported

The Senate bill entitled an Act supplementary to the Act
of 1865, chapter 151, entitled an Act to incorporate the town
of Newton, in Worcester county.

Which was read the first time.
