Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates.

On motion Mr. Fields,
The Senate adjourned.

WEDNESDAY, March 4th, 1874.

The Senate met.

Prayer by Rev. Father Oberley.

Present the following Senators :

Messrs. President, Aydelott, Blake, Brewer, Billingsley,
Brattan, Crawford, Claggett, Davis, Denson, Fields, Getty,
Knight, Longwell, Lloyd, McCulloh, Stevens, Steiner, Spen-
cer, Tuck, Williams, Walsh—22.

The proceedings of yesterday were read and approved.

Mr. Lloyd presented the petition of thirty citizens of Tal-
bot county, in favor of a Dog Law.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Agri-
culture .

Also,

The petition of one hundred citizens of Talbot county,
against a new election district.

Which was read and referred to Messrs. Lloyd, Longwell
and Walsh.

Also,

The petition of fifty citizens of Talbot county, against a
a Dog Law,
