416 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Feb. 27,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the restora-
tion of certain ancient records in the office of the Register of
Wills of Anne Arundel county,

Was considered, and

On motion by Tuck,
Recommitted to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings.

Mr. Stevens, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported unfavorably on

The Senate bill entitled an Act to .establish a Board of
Public Charities.

Mr. Steiner moved to substitute the bill for the unfavorable
report, and that the vote upon the motion to substitute be
postponed until Tuesday next, and made the order of the day
for that day at 1 o'clock.

Which was adopted.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and deliv-
ered the following message:

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

February 27th, 1874.
Gentlemen of the Senate :

We have received the message of your Honorable Body,
proposing a Committee of Conference on the disagreeing votes
of the two Houses on printed Senate bill No. 25, and concur
in the same. We have appointed on the part of the House,
Messrs. Keech, McColgan and Brace, to confer with the gen-
tlemen named on the part of the Senate.

Chief Clerk.
Mr. Tuck, from a Select Committee, reported favorably on

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 51 and
52of the Codeof Public Local Laws, entitled 'Prince George's,'
under head of 'Collectors,' enacted at January Session, 1868,
chapter 330, and sections 47 and 48 of said Article XVI.,
enacted at January Session, 1872, chapter 294, and re-enact
the following as sections 47, 48, 51 and 52 of said Article
XVI. of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled 'Prince
George's County,' under the head of 'Collectors,' in their
stead.

Which was laid over.

On motion by Mr. Blake,
The Senate adjourned.
