Keller, Sarah Strailman, Catharine Hammer, Lydia Bpbst,
Susan Engelbrecht, Mary Ann Jackson, Catharine Miller and
Barbara Stottlemyer, of Frederick county widows of soldiers
of the war of 1812, praying that thejr names may be restored
to the pension rolls.

Which were read and referred to the Committee on Pensions.

Mr. Earle presented the petition of Edward H. Coursey, of
Queen Anne's county, a soldier of the war of 1812, asking to
be placed on the pension list.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pensions.
On motion by Mr. Phelps,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Internal Improve-
ments to report a bill to provide for the appointment of a di-
rector on the part of Dorchester county, in the Dorchester
and Delaware Rail Road.

On motion by Mr. Billingsley,

Leare was granted to the Committee on Pensions to intro-
duce a bill to place Hezekiah Burroughs, a soldier of the war
of 1812, on the pension list of St. Mary's county.

On motion by Mr. Tuck,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Agriculture to re-
port a bill entitled "An Act to refund to Dr. Richard 8.
Stewart, James Cheston, Bernard Carter, for the estate of the
Charles H. Carter, and Mary Cooke, Executrix of the late
William Cooke and Sons, for money erroneously paid by them
in excess for outage and storage on tobacco."

On motion by Mr. Tuck,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Agriculture to re-
port a bill entitled " An Act to refund to Caleb C. Magru-
der, of Prince George's county, moneys erroneously paid by
him to Inspectors of Tobacco in Baltimore, for storage and
outage.''

Mr. Stevens presented the Twenty-Sixth Annual Report
and Catalogue of the Baltimore Female College.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Educa-
tion.

On motion by Mr. Davis,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance to report
