Mr. Denson presented the petition of seven hundred Bar-
bers for the passage of the Barbers' bill.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Judicial
Proceedings...

On motion by Mr. Tuck, it was

Ordered, that the report of the Annapolis and Elk Ridge
Rail Road Company and the accompanying statements, in
reply to the order of 22nd January, be printed for the use of
the Legislature.

On motion by Mr. Brattan,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
report a bill to incorporate the Argyle Insurance Company of
Maryland.

Also,

Leave to Messrs. Brattan, Tuck and Steiner to report a
bill to amend the Act of 1872, chapter 151, section 16, relat-
ing to the mode of assessment in the town of Chrisfield, in
Somerset county.

Mr. Lloyd presented the petition from numerous citizens of
Talbot county, relating to the hauling of seines in the waters of
said county.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Chesa-
peake Bay and its Tributaries.

Was taken up, and

On motion by Mr. Davis,
The Senate non-concurred in the House amendments.

The Senate bill entitled "An Act to legalize the organiza-
tion of the Parkton and Manchester Rail Road Company."

The Senate bill entitled "An Act to add an additional sec-
tion to Article XL. of the Code of Public General Laws entitled
'Fines and Forfeitures' to come in after section 3,"

Was returned from the House of Delegates yesterday with
proposed amendments, was taken up, and

On motion by Mr. Claggett,

The Senate concurred in the House amendments, and the
bill was passed by yeas and nays as follows :
