CHAPTER 504.

 

AN ACT to regulate the manufacture and sale of

 

oils for illuminating purposes, repealing an act

 

passed January session, eighteen hundred and

 

seventy-two, chapter one hundred and thirty-five,

 

entitled an acf to repeal section two, of chap-

 

ter two hundred and sixty-six, entitled " an act

 

to regulate the manufacture and sale of oils for

 

illuminating purposes," passed January, eighteen

 

hundred and seventy, and to re-enact the same

 

so as to read as follows : also an act passed Janu-

 

ary session, eighteen hundred and seventy, chap-

 

ter two hundred and sixty-six entitled " an act to

 

regulate the manufacture and sale of oils for il-

 

luminating purposes," and substituting in lieu of

 

these acts the following :

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

 

Maryland, That the act passed January session, eigh-

manufactured from petroleum orits products, used for
