of the State taxes due from its stockholders on the

shares of stock held by them and so standing in their
|
 
|
names on the books of said bank, for the years for
|
 
|
which the same may be due respectively, and to pay
|
 
|
the same to the Treasurer ; and if such bank shall
|
 
|
make such agreement in writing, signed by the
|
 
|
president and cashier thereof, and shall pay the sum
|
 
|
so agreed upon with the Comptroller to the Treas-
|
 
|
urer, then it shall not be necessary for the cashier
|
 
|
of said bank so agreeing and paying, to make the
|
 
|
reports specified in the first section of this act, ex-
|
 
|
cept as to such stockholders as may have bona fide
|
 
|
transferred their stock before the time of making said
|
 
|
report by said cashier.

|
SEC. 10. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

AN ACT to refund to Isaac M. Nichols, one of the

tax collectors of Anne Arundel county, for the

year eighteen hundred and seventy-one, a sum of

money erroneously paid by him into the State
|
 
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
